Android app

PillBird is being prepared for Android with the same calm reminder flow, method-aware scheduling, and offline-first tracking shown across the site.

What to expect

The Android app is designed to stay quiet until it needs your attention. Reminders, pack state, mood logging, and missed-dose recovery are all reachable from the main app surface — no setup calls or support tickets required.

  • Daily, weekly, monthly, and long-acting methods
  • Offline logging that syncs when a connection returns (if sync is enabled)
  • Simple reminders with take, snooze, and skip actions
  • An app-level screen lock to keep your data private

Built privacy-first

The Android build requests only the permissions it genuinely needs. Location is optional and used only if you enable approximate or precise travel/timezone context. It does not ask for microphone, camera, or photo access — those permissions are explicitly removed from the app at build time.

Coordinates are not stored by PillBird. The default travel reminder behavior uses the device timezone only.

Availability

The Play Store release is marked as coming soon. This page and the landing page will be updated the moment installation is available, so there's no mailing list to join.
