Side effects

A lightweight way to record how you feel and spot changes worth discussing with a clinician — without turning every day into a symptom diary.

Logging without overthinking

PillBird keeps side-effect tracking short: note what happened, when it happened, and whether it seems connected to a method change or a missed dose. A few seconds is enough to build a useful record over time.

The point isn't to log everything — it's to capture enough that patterns become visible when you look back.

Connecting effects to changes

Because PillBird also tracks your method and dose history, you can see side-effect notes next to what changed in your routine. New method, new pack, or a run of missed doses — context makes the notes more meaningful.

  • Tag how strong or mild something felt
  • See effects alongside method changes and missed doses
  • Spot whether something is settling down or sticking around

When to get help

Some symptoms need prompt attention. Seek urgent medical care for severe symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, a sudden severe headache, vision changes, severe abdominal pain, or swelling and pain in a leg.

Don't wait to log it in an app first — if something feels serious, contact a clinician or emergency services.

Your notes, your conversation

The history you build in PillBird can help a clinician understand what you're experiencing. It supports that conversation; it doesn't replace it.
